Helping Your Friends Connect to IMO.

• * If you enabled access to your contacts when you set up your IMO account, you'll see a list of your existing friends who are using IMO with a blue video camera icon next to their name. To begin chatting, simply tap on the name of the person that you'd like to chat with. 
• * If you did not enable access to your contacts, you can still invite your friends to join you by tapping the "Invite Friends" option at the top of the screen. This will bring up a list of all of your contacts. Tapping on a friend's name will generate an SMS message addressed to them with an invite to join the service and a link to download the app. You can also add your own message here if you'd like to tell your friend why you're inviting them. Once your friend accepts the invitation, you'll see their name on your list of contacts within IMO.

Once the client is installed, go ahead and open it by tapping the icon on your mobile device.

* You'll be prompted to let IMO access your contacts. By tapping OK you will enable IMO to look through your existing contacts, and provide you with a list of who is on the service that you can start chatting with right away, as well as a list of your contacts who are not on the service, presented with a handy "Invite" button next to each one. You can also invite friends one-by-one if you'd prefer not to give IMO access to your contacts. Tap "Don't Allow" or "OK" depending on your preference. This setting can be changed later if you so desire.

* You'll then be prompted to let IMO send you notifications. By tapping OK, you will enable IMO to send you notices on your mobile device when there is an update that you should see, such as a new message. Tap "Don't Allow" or "OK" depending on your preference. This setting can be changed later if you so desire.

* IMO will then ask for your phone number to establish your account. Once you enter your phone number, you'll receive an SMS message containing a verification code, which you can then enter in the form provided in order to verify your account.

IMO is available for mobile devices as well as Windows desktop computers.

* If you have an iOS device, download, install, and open the IMO client from the Apple App store. IMO is available for Apple iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch devices 7.0 or later.

* If you have an Android device, download, install, and open the IMO client from the Google Play store. IMO is available for Android mobile phones and tablets 4.0 or later.

* If you'd like to use IMO on your desktop or laptop computer, you can do so — but only if you're using a PC running Windows.
